1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GP Transit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
2. Description of Service
GP Transit is a peer-to-peer package delivery marketplace that connects senders who need packages transported with travelers who have spare luggage capacity on their journeys.
3. User Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to use GP Transit
- You must provide accurate and truthful information
- You are responsible for the contents of any package you send
- You must not send prohibited items including weapons, drugs, cash, or hazardous materials
- Travelers must accurately represent their travel plans
4. Payments and Fees
GP Transit charges a service fee on each transaction. Payment is held in escrow and released upon confirmed delivery. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.
5. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited on GP Transit:
- Illegal substances or controlled drugs
- Weapons or ammunition
- Cash or negotiable instruments
- Hazardous materials
- Live animals
- Counterfeit goods
- Items with declared value exceeding $2,000 USD
6. Dispute Resolution
GP Transit provides a dispute resolution process for issues between senders and travelers. Our support team will review disputes and make decisions based on the evidence provided.
7. Limitation of Liability
GP Transit acts as a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the actions of senders or travelers. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected on any transaction.
8. Account Termination
GP Transit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of GP Transit after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. To request account deletion:
- In the app: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- By email: Send a request to support@gptransit.app with subject "Account Deletion Request"
What gets deleted: Your profile, delivery history, chat messages, KYC documents, GP Score, and device tokens.
What is retained: Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years per legal requirements. Records required by law enforcement or legal obligations are retained as required by law.
Processing time: Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once complete.
Pending deliveries: Accounts with active deliveries cannot be deleted until those deliveries are completed or canceled.
